Om also had the company of his mother (Kirron Kher) and Pappu Master (Shreyas Talpade), his friend and co-star. Enter the villain Mukesh Mehra (Arjun Rampal), a Bollywood star in himself and the coming together of Om and Shanti seemed like a forgotten dream. Both Om and Shanti die, only to meet each other again in their new ‘janam’. 21st century and Om is now Om Kapoor, a reigning superstar who now enjoys all the fame and success even though he has deficiencies as an actor.
