2000 prints of Om Shanti Om and 1000 prints of Saawariya will Release word wide
On the other hand, the movie that will give company to Om Shanti Om, Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed, Ranbir-Sonam starrer, Saawariya, is likely to be released with 1000 prints worldwide
Farah Khan’s ‘Diwali’ release, the Shah Rukh Khan - Deepika Padukone starrer, Om Shanti Om, has been sold at the highest ever price paid for a Hindi movie in Kerala -Tamil Nadu. The rights have been bought by Pyramid Saimira. The distributors plan to have a big release, with 60-70 prints in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Meanwhile, Om Shanti Om is all set to create another record of sorts by going in for an unheard of 2000 prints (worldwide) release. This is the highest number of prints (including digital) for any Indian movie till date.
