'Om Shanti Om' in UK's top 10
LONDON: Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's latest movie 'Om Shanti Om' has become a hit in Britain with the movie making its entry into UK's Top 10 films, with a revenue collection of $2,001,834 so far.
'Om Shanti Om' is being shown across 1,400 plus screens globally. It saw first week gross collections of $13.5 million in India and $2 million in North America.
According to reports, 'Om Shanti Om', released with a World Premiere here on November 9, 2007, has so far grossed over $19 million from India and overseas in the first week.
According to the latest revenue figures in the UK, American Gangster is heading the list with a gross to date $5,280,819 followed by Beowulf and Ratatouille.
The film is produced by Red Chillies entertainment and directed by Farah Khan.
